"The Little House"

The Best Place to Be Is In a Little House, On a Little Hill, Far out In the Country.

On days of uncertainty, and nights of many questions.
My family has come together, like I knew we always would.
With dancing singing flowers, and bears with silly hats, we have stood by one another.
Not sure what will come next.

I am happy I got to come home, to my little house, on the little hill.
I know exactly where my home is.
In a Couple of days, the red white and blue southwest plane will take me back to Indiana.
When I get there, I will have to write papers, and face situations I may not be ready to deal with.
All I know is, there is a house, and I belong right there.

P.s. There is a little white church next to the little house, I belong there too.
Same with the little brown pharmacy down the street.

That's where I belong.

Mail day.

Today, I received a pair of shoes I ordered from online.
Got a card from my mother.
Received my school bill.

And found out my cousin has leukemia.

Its mail day.
I could have gone without the news shoes.

Praying for Laura Smith <3

I am at a lose for words.

The un-product hair.

1Cr 11:15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for [her] hair is given her for a covering.

My Clean Covering.
Music fest the festival of music here in Indiana, hundreds poor into calvary tabernacle for a three day event, classes by day and concert by night.
But it isn't just any kind of concert.

It is a true worshiper-concert.

So we poor everything we have into these three days, and we COVER our hair with layers of hair spray.
For the past week every night I have gone to bad with hair covered in product. Then through out the day, I add more hair spray, on top of just another layer of hair spray.

And by the end of the day, my hair is simply stuck to the side of my little blonde head.

But tonight, was the last night of music fest and after incredible move of god, a few garbage bags a couple of vacuums and a dust pan or two.
My hair is clean, and clean as can be.
Just like me.

Daylights saving time.

"When ever I look back at the past, and try and think of what I could have changed or fixed, I forget to look ahead..."

I forget that everything that I am trying to solve or fix, could have been prevented by simply looking ahead.

Today I lost an hour of sleep, the day is longer and the nights are brighter.
Its time to look ahead.

How do you like them apples?

Computers.

They don't respect you, yet we give them the up most respect.
We put them in expensive cases and carry them around in special bags.
We charge them all day long, to use them for a couple of hours.
We buy them insurance, different packages, internet programs and install software, to make them "better"
We buy them desks and special chairs.
We buy fans for when they sit on our laps.
We plug ear buds in them so we will only pay attention to what the computer is saying.
We buy special cloths to clean it with.
We make sure to not have messy fingers when we type on them.
We don't let anyone touch the screen.
If there seems to be a slight issue we run them to the nearest computer doctor we can.
We buy them security ware, so they won't get viruses.
And when they do, we spend a ton of money to try and fix the bug within.

But, what do computer 's do for us?

Computer's freeze, in the middle of videos because it needs to "buffer" what does that even mean!?
They die RIGHT before you get to the charger.
They overheat.
They click, select , pick the wrong thing,
They send emails they never should have.
They can't figure out spell check. Their There They're.
They cant keep up with you're amazing typing skills
They break...ALL the time.
They are complex, difficult to understand and inconsitent.
Their hard drive, cd drive, any of those drives, just stop working!
The motherboard will just give up?
You need passwords for everything, why are they so secretive?
Final thought?
You will work on a project for 3 weeks and then spend 3 hours perfecting typing everything for this ONE project and an hour before it is due when you are just waiting to print it all out.
Your computer will delete all of it, and you will have to start all over again.

Okay so I may have dropped it once or twice, but in the end guess what it will say?
How do you like them apples.

Walking through the valley.

"Clinging to the promise that you aren't through with me yet..."

The valley, is the less preferred, the trying times. The rough spots.
The valley can be lonely, empty...and confusing.
We serve a God, whose love paid the price and yet...here I stand, in a valley.

But today, I want to walk in the valley, with arms stretched out.
God has me exactly were I am for a purpose.
A reason.
A Calling.

God is-
forming.
Strengthening.
transforming.
molding.
developing.
shaping.
establishing.

My Calling.

So Today, I thank God for the valley.

Side note- Tea always helps one get through the valley, so it's Tea Time.

Tuesdays.

Tuesday.
Today was the day I, against what I have known best decided to get a blog
It seems funny that my Mac may get put to good use typing that brian droppings through out my day.
I had no intentions at all of starting a blog today and I am just looking across my messy room, the post-it proclaiming I have piano lessons at 4:15 scratch that 3:15...I have Zero practice time.
All I can say is that I have decided, started, created and produced a blog.
Because I MISS my family and friends back home and have all intentions of sending them my lovely link, so they can read up on the simple minded me.

Now I need anyone...SOMEONE to believe in me that I will keep up with it, I will continue as much as I can to type type type.

I thank this fine tuesday, for making me start something, possibly it was the chapel service, awakening that burden for souls, I seem to have miss placed with the hustle and bustle of college life. Or maybe it was the woman of the bible class, there I was reminded of - Jesus- as silly as that sounds. I was reminded of that mercy, forgiveness and the blood.

And maybe I wanted to share
